The International Conference on the Quality of Information and Communications Technology (QUATIC) serves as a forum for disseminating advanced methods, techniques and tools for supporting quality approaches to ICT engineering and management. Practitioners and researchers are encouraged to exchange ideas and approaches on how to adopt a quality culture in ICT process and product improvement and to provide practical studies in varying contexts.

The 2021 Conference was again an online edition, due to the Covid-19. It was on September 8-10, 2021.
Before this second year of the pandemic situation, it was scheduled to be in Portugal, Faro (Algarve).

The 2020 Conference was an online edition, due to the Covid pandemic situation. It was on September 8-12, 2020.
Before the pandemic situation, it was scheduled to be in Portugal, Faro. This location will be used in a future QUATIC Conference.
QUATIC 2020
The 2019 conference edition was held at Ciudad Real, Spain in September 2019. The Conference Program was organized on a series of Thematic Tracks, each corresponding to a specific topic of interest. To foster the dissemination of best practices in industry and to allow a lively discussion of hot topics and quality concerns we also had the dedicated Business Day.
The 2018 conference edition was held at Coimbra in September. As usual, the Conference Program was organized on a series of Thematic Tracks. The conference had also a dedicated Business Day.
The Doctoral Consortium of Portuguese Software Engineering
Students (SEDES) provided an opportunity for doctoral students to present and discuss their thesis work with faculty and peers and network with other
